9th Edition of International Conference on
Reiki Practitioners are those who practice Reiki, a form of energy healing that channels universal life force energy, or "Ki," to support healing and well-being. Reiki is based on the idea that energy flows through all living beings, and when this energy becomes blocked or unbalanced, it can lead to physical or emotional distress. Practitioners use hand positions either on or just above the body to transfer healing energy to the recipient. This energy is believed to promote relaxation, reduce stress, alleviate pain, and assist in overall emotional and physical healing. Reiki is non-invasive, with healing occurring through the practitioner's focused intention and the natural flow of energy.
Reiki practitioners typically go through a multi-level training process. The first degree, Reiki I, focuses on hands-on healing and connecting with the energy. The second degree, Reiki II, introduces symbols and mantras to enhance the healing process and enables distant healing, allowing practitioners to send energy to others across distances. The third degree, or Reiki Master level, is for those who wish to teach Reiki and pass on attunements to new practitioners. Reiki practitioners are found in various settings, including wellness centers, hospitals, and private practices, helping people achieve balance and harmony in their lives.
