Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is a complementary therapy that involves the use of aromatic essential oils medicinally to improve holistic improvement in health and well-being. Hence, it is also referred to as essential oil therapy. It is a prevalent complementary therapy used to relieve stress and produce other pleasant sensations but does not provide cure for diseases or illnesses. It improves both physical and emotional health. The therapy involves use of essential oils through inhalation or as a topical application. Essential oils are believed antimicrobial, antiviral, nematicidal, antifungal, insecticidal, and antioxidant properties.
