2nd Edition of International Conference on
Homeopathy is a type of alternative medicine based on the belief that the body can cure itself. Homeopathic practitioners believe that use of little amounts of natural substances, like plants and minerals stimulates the healing process. Homeopathic medicine was developed in the late 1700s in Germany and is common in many European countries. Homeopathy is based on the notion “like cures like” which means, something that triggers symptoms in healthy individuals in a very small dose treat an illness with similar symptoms. This is meant to activate the body’s natural defences.
