Ayurvedic dosage forms have been an integral part of traditional Indian medicine since ancient times. They are dosage forms which derive from the ancient science of herbal medicine or Ayurveda. Ayurvedic dosage forms have been used for hundreds of years for the treatment of a variety of diseases, ailments and conditions. Ayurvedic dosage forms generally utilize a combination of herbal ingredients, which are chosen and combined to produce a specific medicinal effect. These ingredients are often combined in various proportions and proportions of ingredients with other materials such as oils, ghee, honey, etc. Ayurveda is most widely known for its "preparing and using of various herbal mixtures or decoctions for the preservation and administration of medications". Ayurvedic dosage forms can be of three types: solid dosage forms, liquid dosage forms, and semi-solid dosage forms. Solid dosage forms are usually called tablets, pills, or pellets. Semi-solid dosage forms include pastes, ointments, creams, etc. which are prepared with herbs and required oils. Ayurvedic dosage forms are a major part of traditional Indian medicine and are gaining popularity in modern times due to its efficacy in treating a variety of diseases and ailments. Ayurvedic dosage forms have a high quality of safety due to the natural ingredients and have low risk of side effects. They have been proven to be effective in controlling inflammation, improving digestion, reduce stress and improve immunity, as well as treat a variety of diseases such as diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, and psoriasis. Ayurvedic dosage forms are also beneficial for mental health. They can help to reduce stress, induce relaxation and improve cognitive abilities. They also increase energy levels and reduce fatigue. As Ayurvedic dosage forms are prepared in natural and traditional ways, they provide a safe and effective way of treating various ailments and diseases without the use of strong chemicals.
