Title : Awakening the healing flow of life energy through prana and reiki
Abstract:
All living beings are sustained by an invisible current that animates the body and connects it to consciousness. In India it is known as Prana; in Japan, Ki; in China, Qi. Although described through different languages, they refer to the same universal life force—the subtle energy that maintains vitality, clarity, and balance. This experiential workshop invites participants to explore how awareness, breath, and touch awaken this vital current. Blending the Ayurvedic science of Prana with the Japanese system of Reiki, the session offers a bridge between two great healing traditions that recognize energy as the foundation of life and health. Through simple exercises—sensitizing the hands, scanning the biofield, and projecting energy from the heart—participants will directly experience how attention and compassion transform breath into medicine. Modern research increasingly supports the benefits long described in these ancient systems. Studies on Reiki suggest measurable improvements in anxiety, pain perception, and overall quality of life, often linked to activation of the parasympathetic nervous system and stress reduction. Likewise, emerging clinical trials on Pranic Healing have reported positive effects in areas such as depression, wound healing, and sleep quality when used alongside conventional care. While scientific evidence is still developing, these findings echo what energy practitioners have observed for centuries: that the human body responds to subtle energy modulation and the intention behind it.
This workshop combines brief theoretical insights with guided practice, inviting participants to:
1. Understand the five movements of Prana and their influence on physical and emotional balance.
2. Learn to sense and clear energetic congestion through the palms.
3. Experience the resonance between Prana and Ki as expressions of one universal field.
4. Apply heart-based awareness to restore inner equilibrium and vitality.
Participants will leave with a felt understanding of how conscious presence amplifies life energy, and practical techniques to integrate into personal or professional wellness routines. This approach honors both traditional wisdom and modern inquiry—recognizing that, whether through Ayurveda, Yoga, or Reiki, healing ultimately arises from the same source: the awakened flow of life within.
