Title : Unexceptional results in homeopathy: An evidence based case studies

Abstract:

Introduction: Homeopathy, based on the principle of individualized constitutional prescribing, has shown potential in managing chronic, non-healing, and autoimmune conditions, particularly in patients with multiple comorbidities where conventional approaches are limited. Despite skepticism, case-based clinical evidence continues to highlight favorable outcomes that warrant further exploration. This paper presents three clinically significant cases where homeopathy contributed to complete or substantial recovery without surgical or invasive interventions.
Objective: To demonstrate the efficacy of individualized constitutional homeopathic treatment in the management of complex pathological conditions, including non-healing felon, autoimmune disorder with polyarthritis, and diabetic foot ulcer with venous insufficiency.
Case Presentation:
Case 1:
A 61-year-old male presented with a non-healing felon of the right thumb characterized by pain, swelling, and ulceration. His medical history included uncontrolled diabetes mellitus (random blood sugar: 438 mg/dl), hypertension (155/95 mmHg), and vertigo. Surgical intervention was advised in conventional medicine, but the patient opted for homeopathic treatment.
Case 2: A 35-year-old female diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder (ANA positive) presented with severe polyarthritis, persistent joint pain, and hypertension. Conventional options offered only symptomatic relief. She was prescribed individualized constitutional remedies considering both mental and physical symptoms.
Case 3: A 58-year-old male with diabetes mellitus presented with pedal edema and a non-healing ulcer on the left foot following a shoe bite. Past medical history included left foot debridement. Clinical findings showed significant pedal edema, incompetent perforator veins above the ankle, possible varicosities, and a Baker’s cyst. Inguinal lymphadenopathy was present, while arterial or deep vein thrombosis was excluded. Color Doppler confirmed venous insufficiency. The patient received individualized homeopathic treatment.
Results:
Case 1:
Complete resolution of felon was achieved within seven weeks (March 20 – May 12, 2025).
Case 2: Full remission of polyarthritis and systemic symptoms was achieved within six months.
Case 3: Significant improvement in pedal edema and ulcer healing was noted on follow-up, with sustained progress under continued homeopathic management.
?Additionally, photographic documentation of 3–4 other deep pathological cases supports these findings, showing clear before-and-after evidence of clinical improvement.
Conclusion: The documented cases suggest that individualized constitutional homeopathy can effectively manage complex and otherwise refractory conditions such as non-healing ulcers, autoimmune disorders, and diabetic complications. These outcomes emphasize the potential of classical homeopathy as a safe, holistic, and non-invasive therapeutic modality, even in patients with advanced pathology and comorbid systemic illnesses. While larger-scale clinical studies are warranted, these case reports contribute valuable evidence to the growing body of homeopathic literature.
