Abstract:

Since Ancient times Ayurveda has offered solutions for the various health issues. A condition that affects both articular and extra articular organ systems, Rheumatoid arthritis and conditions similar presents with a wide range of clinical signs and symptoms. Clinically it resembles Amavata, a condition mentioned in more resembled Ayurvedic scriptures. The cornerstone of treatment for this illness is nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications (NSAIDs); nevertheless, their long-term efficacy is limited. Therefore, medications with a low safety profile and good efficacy are needed in this worst health condition. Ayurveda offer the entire treatment of rheumatoid arthritis in a greater way. Ayurvedic Treatment, medications and combinations gives good relief in the same condition. Modern system of medicine uses anti-inflammatories, DMARDs, immuno-suppressive agents. But these drugs have bad impact on the quality of life & have so many side effects. In Ayurveda, there are pharmacological drugs which can settle the condition with safe and effective way. Upper hand of Ayurveda offers the greatest solutions for many illnesses where contemporary medical research is unable to provide results since its treatment aims to completely cure the patient and return them to a healthy condition rather than just symptom-free. Time has come to offer safer and effective medications in conditions like arthritis and ray of hope is none other than Ayurveda.
